Colour: Very pale straw with youthful green hue. Brilliant condition.

Aroma: Bright, fresh and fruity. Green apple, white peach, honeydew & rock melon with lifted notes of honeysuckle. Subtle shortbread and fresh yeast characters impart additional complexity.

Palate: The palate is fresh and crisp. Crunchy green apple, white peach and melon flavours dominate with time on yeast lees adding a delicate creamy note and texture. The wine has a delicate bead that provides tremendous freshness and carries the flavour to a dry finish.

Chardonnay and Chenin Blanc were selected as the main grape varieties for the blend due to the flavour intensity of Margaret River Chardonnay and the freshness Chenin Blanc provides from natural grape acids. These two varieties are renowned for producing high quality, refreshing sparkling wines.

Non vintage sparkling blends require skill and expertise in selecting the right combination of varietal, vineyard site and vintage year to create a consistent blend. This wine is blended from four vintage years to provide depth and complexity, and the desired freshness of flavour.
