At Plantagenet, we went a little overboard two decades ago when we first came across the vineyard Omrah, so named after the striking and luxurious SS Omrah.

The ocean liner spent 18 years ferrying settlers and soldiers to and from shores in Albany, Western Australia. Omrah now sails on our label, embodying the true character of Western Australia; a pioneering spirit built from youthful enthusiasm.

Omrah is a fiercely independant as we are remote; fruit is sourced from some of the most oldest soils and pristine environments, ideal for producing this merlot that displays a delicate balance of soft, fleshy blueberries and cherries. Omrah is best drunk yound and fresh, more so when shared with food, friends, and conversation.
